Sahih International is a translation of the Quran produced by three American women converts to Islam: Aminah Assami, Amatullah Bantley, and Mary Kennedy. First published in 1997, it has become one of the most widely circulated English translations of the Quran globally, noted for its clear, modern, and gender-neutral language.
The translation follows a direct, literal style while maintaining readability. It avoids archaic English and focuses on accuracy by closely following the Arabic text. Parenthetical clarifications are used sparingly to aid comprehension without altering the meaning.
